More than a school day

Where learning meets people, interests and community

Student Life brings together the experiences that help children connect learning with people, interests and the wider school community. Age-appropriate opportunities can encourage students to try something new, work with others and recognise the value of their contribution.

Opportunities vary by campus, age group and academic year. Not every activity is available at every campus or grade level.

Four ways to take part

Create, move, connect and discover

Student Life is organised around four kinds of experience. Each one opens a different way for students to grow — and each connects to a part of the academy they can explore.

Create

Creative experiences give students space to express ideas, develop confidence and explore how stories, sound, movement and performance can communicate meaning.

Explore Performing Arts

Move

Physical activity supports coordination, wellbeing, teamwork and resilience while helping students develop a positive relationship with movement.

Explore Athletics

Connect

Shared experiences help students build relationships, respect different perspectives and understand what it means to belong to a community.

Explore Our Community

Discover

Clubs and activities can help students explore new interests, practise skills and participate in experiences beyond the core curriculum.

Belonging

A place to be known and included

A strong school community helps students feel secure enough to participate, ask questions and express themselves. Belonging grows through respectful relationships, shared expectations and opportunities for every student to contribute.

Student voice

Confidence grows through participation

Students develop confidence when they are encouraged to share ideas, make thoughtful choices and take age-appropriate responsibility. Student voice should be supported in ways that are meaningful, respectful and appropriate to each stage of development.

Across Abuja and Lagos

One academy community across two campuses

Student Life experiences may differ according to campus, age group, available spaces, staffing and the academic calendar. Families should be able to view which opportunities are currently available in Abuja, Lagos or across both campuses.

This page does not claim identical activities or facilities across the two campuses. Campus-specific availability is confirmed by the academy.
