What we collect, and when
We collect information only where you give it to us. Browsing this website does not require you to tell us anything.
If you start an application, we collect the name of each child you are applying for, the campus and school level you are applying to, and your own name, relationship to the child, email address and telephone number. Once the application fee is paid, the detailed application may also collect a date of birth, the name and location of a current or previous school, and any note you choose to write about how we can best support your child.
We do not ask for and do not store medical or diagnostic records, religion, ethnicity, political information, or identity-document numbers. If you send us any of these, we have no place to keep them.
We never see your card details.Payment happens inside our payment provider’s own secure interface. We receive only a reference, the amount, the currency and whether the payment succeeded.
Why we use your information
- To process the application you have started and to contact you about it.
- To take and confirm the application fee, and to issue your receipt.
- To prepare properly for a child joining the academy.
- To keep financial records the academy is required to keep.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else is involved
- A payment provider processes the application fee and holds the card details we never see.
- A hosting provider runs this website and the database that holds application records.
- Instagram.Where the academy’s Instagram feed appears on our homepage, we request only the academy’s own recent posts from Instagram’s official interface. We do not read your Instagram account, and we do not send Instagram anything about you.
Some of these providers operate outside Nigeria, which means information may be processed in another country under that provider’s own safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep application information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above, and financial records for as long as the academy is required to keep them. Retention schedules are set by the academy as approved operational configuration rather than being decided page by page, and they are applied consistently to drafts, submitted applications and financial records.

Asking to see, correct or delete information
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you or your child, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.
Write to info@thelincolnschool.org. We will ask you to confirm who you are before we act, so that nobody else can obtain your child’s information.
